California O&P Company Expands

Capstone Orthopedic, Castro Valley, California, and its principal partners purchased Douglass Certified Prosthetics & Orthotics in Seattle. This marks the first time Capstone, which has ten locations in California, has expanded outside the state. It now has 42 employees. Capstone also performed an acquisition partnership with Restore Orthotics and Prosthetics in Monterrey, California giving the company two locations in Monterrey County. A 10-year-old San Ramon girl reached a milestone in her battle with osteosarcoma — getting her first prosthetic leg.
